Student Tours--Life long learning includes knowing how to find information. A tour at Morris County Library will teach your students about reference databases, remote access to the library, the card catalog, the uses of microfiche and microfilm files and will touch on the Internet. Our library has over 200,000 volumes and 800 periodical titles. Students continue to use MCL as a resource right through their college and career years. We're also glad to work with groups of homeschoolers.
Your topics or research subjects can be worked into our tour if you let us know what your classes are studying. Students should bring their library cards with them and some change, if they wish to make copies of materials (Xerox, 10 cents a copy, all other printers, 5 cents). We can arrange for bulk loans to your class at the end of your tour or requested materials can be sent to your school through our Delivery Department.
